Our Easter Weekend...
Collage Style...
The weather was wonderful...Here are some shots from our weekend. We visited family, went to the park, walked the dog and ate lots of goodies. We had a ton of family fun...we discovered some pretty flowers growing in the garden. The weekend couldn't have been any better!!! We hope you had a nice weekend too.

Review
McCain Purely Potatoes (review)
"Good food starts from the ground up. That’s why our McCain Purely Potatoes® varieties are made with the goodness of 100% real, specially selected potatoes. McCain Purely Potatoes® varieties are washed, peeled and cut potatoes, so you can quickly prepare your favourite, delicious potato recipes. Simply steam in the microwave ready bag for easy and delicious mashed potatoes or roast in the oven. McCain It’s all good™"
I was invited to try out new McCain Purely Potatoes for free thanks to BzzAgent. I was very excited to try this new product. I had a choice between the 100% real potato chunks or the sweet potato chunks. It wasn't an easy choice but I went with the real potato chunks. Suggested retail is $3.49 a bag-reasonable. I got mine at Metro and I noticed they were on sale $2.49 a bag. For the price I have to say good value for your dollar. They are found in the frozen potato and french fry section of all major grocery stores.
The directions are easy to follow Microwave frozen potatoes in the bag on high for 12-14 mins or until tender. I did ours for 13 mins. Let stand for 1 min. Using a potato masher, mash potatoes. Add sour cream, butter, oil, garlic, salt and pepper and mash until very smooth. You could add your favourite cheese, herbs
or seasonings.
We followed the directions on the bag to add milk and butter. The potatoes were very good. A little dry(maybe abit more milk or butter was needed:)
My family ate the whole bowl regardless. It was nice to have mashed potatos and not have all the prep. I will be trying these again in the near future and I will also be trying the sweet potatoes because I love sweet potatoes.

I think Spring has Sprung...and that means a lot of work in my backyard. After my run today, I got all the dog crap picked up(trust me there were many messes-only since November til now:)
Josh and I got our peas planted in 5 different pots...I wanted them in a bit earlier but that didn't happen! Then I got my camera out to shoot some of my favourite shots-flowers, my garden and my boy(thanks, Josh:)
Here is a quick collage to showcase a bit of our afternoon. Thank-you Mr. Sun for such a wonderful weekend. We are sooooooooooooooo ready for SPRING!

A sneak peek...
One year ago...
This is a pic of me after my race...and I'm still smiling. That's a good sign!
Tomorrow I run my second 1/2 marathon ever!!! 21.4 km, it's takes me just over 2 hrs to finish. I like to be in by 2.5hrs at the latest. Sometimes the crowds and weather can make it hard to finish when you want to. I love this run and this year is the 10th Anniversary :) It should be a very fun day. The weather sounds warm...so, Hello shorts. But, it also sounds like rain. I love running in the rain when it's warm. Please no thunder storm-lol Do you hear me weather lords? This pic is my medal from last year 2010 I can't believe a year has passed already.

Love These...
My mom and dad are amazing!!! They are soooo supportive and helpful. They know when to lend a hand and they know when to let me spread my wings and fly...My parents found these awesome plaques to add to my display of Alphabet Art Creations. Memories, Family, Believe and Friends. I can't wait to add them to my booth this weekend. Thanks so much for all your love! You both are the best parents ever!!!

To market, To market...
Just a simple collage of some more items that have went to market...I started in my new booth this past Saturday. It was a good day, I have very nice market neighbours:) Everybody is so warm and welcoming. It is a big adjustment-I'm learning lots as I go. The day goes by so fast. My friends and family have been sooo supportive. I hoping to bring my camera in this weekend to get some pics of my booth to share on my blog. Have a good week :)

I can't believe it!
Greg in promotions- Congratulations to Christine Secord Miller!!! She is the Grand Prize Winner of our EZ Rock PicBadge contest and has won $300 in gift certificates from The Shoe Company! Thanks to everyone who added the EZ Rock PicBadge to their profile pic! What a wonderful April Fool's Day! I have to say that April 1st isn't my favourite day. I don't like getting tricked and I tend to believe EVERYTHING... So, I made it through yesterday without any major tricks. I'm getting older now so I tend to think before I react :) This is a good thing... Anyway last night at around 7pm a friend of mine sent me a message on face book, it said sorry we haven't gotten together...and then she says she just checked her twitter account(whatever I don't have twitter:) and then she says "congrats" happy spending.... Really I'm thinking enough with the April Fool's!!! I can't take it anymore. I message her back telling her I don't have a clue what she is talking about. She messages back and tells me I won the contest for The Shoe Company-(now, I really start to think because for the past month or longer I have had this picbadge for EZ rock stuck on my profile pic- really hoping that I might win something...but, never thinking I would. I then went to the website and found this message(see message above). I have never offically heard from the radio station. I will look into it first thing Monday morning. How was your April Fool's Day??? Did you Trick or get Tricked??? Don't forget Sharing is Caring :) I would love to hear your stories... I really need to thank Jules for letting me know I won...if it wasn't for you... I likely still would not know-lol
