Today it's myself and my kitchen. Hubby is down stairs in his man cave ROCKIN' out to Katey Perry, Pink, Ke$ha etc...cleaning his fish tanks :) Love that man! Next time I will have to sneak down and get a couple of pics for my blog-lol
The boys are having some fun together hanging tight in Craig's room. Being that Craig is 14, Josh gets excited when the invite to come and play the x-box with me happens to him.(Today is that day). Josh is feeling a bit under the weather today too. Just not himself :(

Where's Waldo?

I did this collage in a cartoon style. It turned out kinda neat-I think anyway. Yesterday after work...I stopped at Masonville for a bit of shoppin'. I found these very cute PJ's for Craig. When Craig was 5, he read "Where's Waldo" Books over and over and over AGAIN!!! This went on for a couple of years. So, when I saw these PJ's I HAD to get them for him. It helped they were on clearance and clearance had an extra 40% off.(so, to make a long story short-his jammies were $7-if that :)
When he got home, I said I bought you some new clothing etc. He looked at the PJ's and LAUGHED. He to remembers all the "Waldo" books. He was a good guy to model his jammies for my blog.(he just didn't want his pics posted-without an edit style). That is how we came up with the cartoon style. Waldo is cartoon...so it just all works. Without further a do. Craig in his retro Waldo jams.

Yeah-Man

My bro and his GF got back from a week in Jamaica! They brought back these funky sunglasses for the boys. Josh just loves his! He thinks he's the man, seriously!!! Too funny. Fred even got some special treatment and got to try on the very cool glasses-lol. Never a dull moment in the Miller House :)

Two weeks ago we got new neighbours. They are fixing up the house beside us. Pic posted is of their garage. He is having all the windows replaced and painting the outside walls of his garage. I love the rustic look of his garage and broken window. It works with my garden-lol

I'm wondering if he knows I have a climbing rose growing up his side of the garage???

Maybe he is just planning on painting over everything!!! Could be interesting. I will post AFTER pics.

It's a cold, raw windy day! Mother Nature surprised us by giving us a couple of beauty days(plus 10) and then dropping 15 degrees in 15 hours!!!
J and I rode bikes yesterday, I wish I had my camera then. Now we are hiding in the house under blankets, keeping warm.
I did manage a quick click of the camera. This tree shot is pretty. That's all I have for today :)

Josh is not well today...Look at him and Fred playing!!! Fred has his eyes closed in the one picture, I think he was a little scared. Looking at Josh's eyes he seems a bit off-hmmmm, I guess it was good he stayed home from school today.

The Sweetest Valentine's Day...

From flowers Love from my hubby, to the cutest heart person with the longest arms and legs from my Craiger to a mushy kiss from my J man. Yesterday was a day full of extra LOVE for me! Thanks, guys. I was also showered with lots of chocolate, chocolate that I don't need... but do LOVE! Thanks for sharing with your family Josh :) Note:Josh had a party at school and came home loaded with treats. Josh and I embraced the new snow that we woke up to. We grabbed the sleds and off we went to climb some HUGE mountains of snow. Mike is sick-poor guy! Craig is a teenager so he sleeps til at least 11am. Josh and I had a BLAST! Check out our collage of pictures...

I miss her...

We worked together for almost 8 years. In September 2010 she started a new job. It has been almost 6 months and I miss her like CRAZY! She was like the sister I never had. She knew me inside out...We are still friends. But, I miss her smile and kindness every Tuesday. Tuesdays aren't the same without my Friend.

So today's post is all about my friend Debra!!! Remembering all our CRAZY, FUN times together(we had lots that we shared).

Gettin' Ready!

3 more sleeps it's Valentine's Day. I love all special days. February is such a FUN month with Groundhog Day, Craig's BD, Valentine's Day, Family Day and my nephew Sam's BD. With all this ...and it is the shortest month of the year-so it goes by really fast.

My boys and myself baked these up, they love these cookies. 8 mins to bake 5 mins to eat them all up!!! That's my BOYS!

Josh is turning 12, my baby is 12!!! Don't let him know that I called him my baby, but the truth is he'll always be my "baby". Here is a quick pic of his BD invites. He loves dogs(so do I) and this is what he wanted to give to his friends. It sounds like a small party with a couple of guys sleeping over. I think we can handle that-lol

We had a very fun night last night! We were thinking that Wednesday's snow storm came by to say "hi" to us. My brother and Miranda made it back to Glencoe safe and sound(so, that was good).
Craig had an awesome surprise from his nana, papa, uncle and his girlfriend. They all went together and bought Craig his own laptop.(this is a BD gift and Grad. gift combo). How kind! What a BIG surprise. Craig can't separate himself from his present-lol

13! Soon to be 14 ;)

We are cleaning, playing, cooking and waiting for our family to arrive. We have spring rolls(mini ones-they are just too cute), Mushroom rice dish, meatballs in the crockpot and a very yummy vegetable casserole. Nana is bringing the birthday cake and ice cream and we made chocolate fudge and a mixed fruit cobbler(my favourite:) We have everything just about ready!!! We are even eating from our China settings(so you know turning 14 is pretty darn special). Craig is feeling the LOVE. His real birthday is on Monday, but everyone will be busy working etc. I will make him some special cookies...shhh don't tell him. I think even cupcakes will be waiting for him after school :D

Ok, the white ones are my fav. The green ones looks a little gross... but, my guy is liking green lately.(What's a girl to do)??? Actually, I tried one and they too are yummy. So, I guess it's all ok ;)



Birthday shopping tonight, family over tomorrow night for PARTY! What a fun weekend.

Green Little Bears~

Count them...1,2,3,......10,11,12,13 and 14!!! That is how old my man will be on Monday. We are gearing up to have Nana, Papa, Uncle Trevor and his GF Miranda over for a BD dinner celebration on Saturday. These little bears are Craig's fav.(green is also a favourite colour of his too). I know they look a little creepy being GREEN and everything(but, they still taste YUMMY just the same). Gotta go, I have shopping lists to write, laundry to do, and I should start to tidy up the house-lol.
