Catchin' UP!

Thursday, Friday and Saturday!!! Good thing I finished my 365 Blog last Tuesday, missing this time would have meant I failed. Anyway, not a lot of excuses-Craig and I did have the flu. We're feeling much better. Thursday Craig made it back to school just in time for GRAD pictures. Yes, I just can't believe it. The top row of pics in my collage is how handsome my man looked for his pics.(i hope they turn out). The flowers I got to brighten up my January :)
Craig celebrated with some friends and a few cousins on Saturday. February 7th, Craig is turning 14! That proved to be interesting having 7 boys and I girl at our house. 13 &14 yr olds are not easy to entertain! The kids on the mountains of snow were just a few of the teenagers that needed to go outside and get some fresh air-lol. Overall, we have had a good week and weekend. We hope your all keeping in good health.

My Guy!

Here's a collage of my "Guy" Josh. I love this kid :) Such a loving kind soul. His brother and I have been extremely ill for the last few days. The "flu" made it's way into our lives...so, we have felt like death has become us. Josh has been going about his normal routines and has been trying to help his dad get Craig and I back to good health. Thanks, Craig and I thank-you for helping us out!!! It's been a hard week.

Well, yesterday I was watching from the front window as my guy headed off to school. I was having some proud mommy moments so I grabbed my camera and got a few pics.(not really crystal clear shots, but not bad from inside the house:)

Happy Birthday Blog!

Dear Blog,

Today you are 1 yr old. Happy Birthday!!! Over the past 365 days I have not missed a day posting a pic. Some days were easier then others...But, we did it!!! I'm proud to call you my blog :)

In today's post, I did a collage of a few favourite moments of 2010. It was a GREAT year. Craig started Gr. 8, Josh Gr. 6. I started my own business called Christine's Creative Designs.(Alphabet Photography). I'm really enjoying doing something I LOVE! Photography is a passion of mine. I continue to work at the OEYC part-time which is another passion I share.

I have LOVED my 365 Blog and I plan to continue through 2011(maybe not everyday tho :)

It is a lot of work, FUN work. But, still can be time consuming...

At this point in time I'm moving forward with my business and am trying to get a web site up and running. I promise to post here and there. I thank you for being so much fun dear blog.

What were u doing at 5am???

Fred and I were the only ones up at 5am. We grabbed the camera and had a mini photo shoot.(now, I'm tired:) lol and Fred has crawled back into bed with Craig(at this time). He moves from bed to bed all night.

I have to go out and get a few things...I think Walmart opens early and Superstore too. My 3 nephews are visiting us all day!!! They arrive by 8am, so I have to be ready.(armed with FOOD and FUN).

I hope you enjoyed this collage of Fred. He LOVES to get his picture taken. Debra I know you were likely needing a Freddy fix too, so Enjoy~

Some Snow Pics :)

So, I went outside yesterday to get some awesome photos in the snow. I was out maybe 5 mins and the battery in my camera went dead! So, I took that as a sign that I needed to go back inside and finish up my Sunday chores. Laundry wasn't my idea of fun and taking pictures was :)

I tried again today(after work of course). I finally am back to work - yay! I wasn't so keen with my camera today, but this is what I got. I made a simple collage to highlight our January snow. We might forget all about this stuff in July...the count down is on only 15 more days to blog(then I made it my full year:). I don't think I have missed one post either. Yay, Me!

I do miss my i friends, most of my fellow bloggers have finished up their 365 project(they started on time). I was late to start :(
I will continue this blog until Jan.25th. That is my 1 year anniversary. We'll see what happens then.

I'm finally returning back to work after 4 wks of Christmas Holidays. Yes, my work gives their part-time staff a nice break over the holidays. But, I really am ready to get back to the grind. I miss all my "little" friends and their families.

I came across this picture that was taken a while back,my co-worker and I were in the newspaper. This is when the OEYC was a fairly new program. I can't believe it is now 2011. In February it will be 8 years that I have been with the Ontario Early Years, and I LOVE it :)

Before the Early Years I worked in daycare for 10yrs, OK now I'm starting to show my age-lol(yes, I'm old)

Birthdays are coming...

We're gearing up for Craig's 14th Birthday in February(WOW, 14 already)! Then we'll do it all again in March when my baby Josh(he's not really a baby) turns 12.

The top pic is Craig's invite he will be sending out to a few friends. The cute dog cards are going to be sent out to Josh's friends. If you know Josh, you know he loves DOGS(all animals for that matter:) So no one will be surprised by his choice of invitations. LOVE THAT KID!

Today and tonight Josh is going to his friends Matt BD party. Next weekend Craig is attending a sleepover party too for Greg.

Something tells me that I should be gearing up for a bunch of boys sleeping over in the near future-lol

Favourite Past Time

This was Fred sitting and watching out Craig's window(early AM, I might add:). Fred loves to just "Watch the World Go Bye", every morning and night. As he was watching he saw a coon walk across our fence. He just stares...I was FREAKING!

I found You!

My good friend Debra came over just before Christmas, we had a lovely visit. She surprised my children by bringing them donuts(boy, does she know the best way to their hearts:) Just spoil them with yummy, sugar-coated treats. Really, that was kind of her-thank you.(she brought one for myself and Mike too). She spoiled my whole family. What a girl!

This post is going to surprise her, she is my biggest fan/follower yet she won't add herself to my blog followers(all you need to do is "click" on the follow button-it's that easy:)
Anyway, I told her a while back that I took a picture of the very cute snowman she gave me for Christmas. I said I would post it, but, then I couldn't find my picture(you know how you take thousands of pics during the holidays?)

Well, today I found him and i love him! It is January and we have snow, he's a snowman so it's a go...
It is snowing again now, surprise-surprise!!! Here is a pic of my little Frosty Friend. Enjoy :)

Yesterday I was on tv. Our show was live to air back in December. On Monday Dec. 13, 2010 my mom, SIL-Patricia and myself headed to Toronto for a day of FUN!!! It was nice to visit Toronto at that time, they had no snow.(we had just got dumped on in London).
