Bye, Bye August!

I really can't believe that today is the last day of August! WOW, what a fab summer. I did work, a little! But, I did also have a good amount of time off. The weather has been amazing for Nan and Pop's pool!

Just one week today and the children are back to school. It's bitter sweet, really! That means I'm back to work too. I love my job so that doesn't really bother me.

Fall is also such a wonderful time of the year. Bring it on...Some cooler weather would be welcomed too!

Well, Happy last day of August. Cheers to a GREAT summer!

I think Josh is made out of rubber...He is always bent in a really crazy knotted position! Here he is watching TV and making me giggle at him. What a guy!!! I wish I was just half as flexible :)

Today grandma and grandpa picked us up and took us out for lunch, a trip to Port Stanley and then ice cream! We were spoiled...

Tonight we were out on a Miller walk with the family! We had lots of fun. We stopped by the school board and played ball with Fred and the boys...Josh and I found this awesome feather. We think it is a Bluejay 's feather. It was a beautiful night for a walk...MILLER STYLE!

This is a quick post. So far today I have painted 20 pcs of trim(YAY, ME)!!! Mike has painted the door and frame...Craig's room is coming along-Yippee :) Hopefully this week we can get him moved in and we'll post pics. SO EXCITED!

What's Your Troubles, Bubbles!?!

Today the boys and I ventured off to the green space at the public school board. I had bought them these really cool bubble swords. We played for about an hour, until my camera died! The boys had so much fun!

It was the perfect day to explore the outdoors...

The wind was gentle, yet helped the boys with their bubbles. Just a light breeze filled the air...The sun so strong and warm,it hugged us and kept us cozy! We always have such fun when we explore together as a family!

On my Thursdays I work right beside a Staples! It was a perfect time to run in and grab some school supplies!

I just burst with fruit colours when I hear this on TV! I sing and dance around the living room!!! My children think I'm CRAZY! They are right, I am.

I then tell the boys we need to be on tv. They aren't as thrilled with that idea as myself! So, I guess we won't beable to act out my favourite time of the year in front of the world:(

Actually, I will miss my little men when they return back to class...Summer is the perfect time to de-stress and just chill-lax!

Today, I'm Molly!

Today is my day off. I'm busy as a bee doing laundry, baking cookies and getting ready for the rest of the week! Today I'm making soft chocolate chip cookies...YUMMY! I got the recipe from www.allrecipes.com
I like this recipe because it makes 6 dozen cookies(72 servings). I like to freeze my baking. No, that doesn't make it last longer!!! lol I LOVE to eat frozen cookies.

When I first got the recipe it said "Award winning soft chocolate Chip Cookies", I thought yeah right! But, man after eating...a lot! I have to agree. My belly tells me they are deserving of an award! Easy to follow recipe, must try!



Even my picky Josh is in LOVE...

Molly is my nickname from my hubby Mike. He calls me Molly when I'm in the kitchen...Now, that I'm thinking about it, I'm always in the kitchen! Does that mean I need to change my name!?!

Summa Time...

Warm days, we love to play. Fred and J...kissing cousins! Lots of love, time to grow and enjoy life...the weather has been near perfect this wk! We have been out and about making the best of our time left together. Water guns fights, washing our bikes...these little things make us smile!

This is what Craig and I were working on today! He loves his name, so having it plastered to his wall is pure joy.
I'm thinking it will look pretty cool on his wall in his new room...things are finally coming along!

After working so hard being creative, painting his little heart out. He wanted to venture off to Wendy's for a treat! We took the dog to so fred got to enjoy a cool vanilla Frosty too! I wish I had my camera with me during this trip...Fred had the cup stuck on his face and it was FUNNY!

A beauty day today, the weather is awesome! I did get some pics of the boys outside enjoying the summer things! Maybe later I will get them up and posted. We will see what tonight brings...

A Busy Sunday...

AKA as WORK, WORK and more WORK!!!

Today we are finishing up a few things in Craig's room. Painting closet doors, laying the floor! This room is now taking shape. I feel like we have an endless to do list! It is fun seeing everything come together. We feel good about seeing things done...and that "we did it"! I included a pic or two of Craig's new light fixture, lite up! I also put in a pic of my daisy I cut from my garden. I have this flower in my kitchen...I feel so relaxed everytime I see it! So, perfect and beautiful.

Finally, We have light!!!

This reno is starting to drive me CRAZY! This is our second fixture...the first was beautiful, just not enough light! I like this light too. We went to Living Lighting and we got to custom make our light. So that was cool!

Craig is happy, so that is all that counts...being it's his room :)

I was cleaning around the fridge and noticed my monkeys, so young and sweet!





Some days I miss them being young and sweet...But, just having my boys around me everyday makes me feel very special! You guys "Rock"!
